It's Time....

for a "compare the baby photos" post! I'm comparing Caleb and Stellan today. I've already heard, many times that Stellan looks just like Caleb. There are two main differences: 1--Caleb had 3 times as much hair as Stellan does, and 2--Stellan has chunkier cheeks than Caleb. But other than that, I think they look very much alike.

I'm Back

I figured it out. Now back to the regularly scheduled blog. :)

Sorry...

My old blog template disappeared so I was going about changing it the other day when I noticed that all the pictures, blog archive and link list and so on were not showing up anymore! How annoying. I've changed the template for the blog several times before and this hasn't happened so I don't know what went wrong or how to fix it. That's why my blog looks utterly retarded right now. Anyone know what could've happened?

One Month Already

In one way, I can't believe it's already been one month since our sweet Stellan was born. In another way, it seems like he's been here for much longer. I am just so smitten with this boy, I can hardly stand it. I'm so thankful for the children God has blessed us with.

Anywho, moving on. We had Stellan weighed this week. At 4 weeks old, he weighs 11 pounds 14 ounces! I haven't compared that to the other kids yet, but I am pretty sure they weren't this chunky at 4 weeks! :) I love every ounce of him!

Stellan is our most laid back baby, only crying when he's hungry or wants to be held. He has been such a smiley guy too, whether in his sleep or awake. Now that he's a month old, his wake smiles are coming more frequently. It's a precious sight to see.

Caleb decided he wanted to join the photo shoot. :)

Everyone says Stellan looks like Caleb, and I have to agree. I think they are twins separated by 2 years!

Before and After--Stellan Style!

I haven't participated in the Before/After bloghop in a while because I was busy having a baby!! Yep, I now have a daughter and TWO precious boys to love on!

It's A Boy!!!

Stellan Ray Castleberry joined our family on his due date, July 26th! Although I had woken up with contractions at 5:30 that morning, I didn't officially know I was in labor until my midwife confirmed it. I was 5 centimeters dilated at 5 PM. I guess that knowledge was all it took, because after that, there was no doubt I was in labor. Chris and I (along with his mom and Laura Anne and Caleb), went to the birth center at 7 PM. They hung out with us until 8, when Chris' mom took the kids home to get them in bed. I labored on a birth ball for a while and then got in the tub, which was awesome!

At 10:13 PM Stellan was born into the water in a caul, which means he was still in his sack of water. It was a great birth experience and I am so thankful how everything turned out.

He weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and measured 21 1/2 inches long! I had no idea I could make babies that big. :) Both Laura Anne and Caleb weighed just under 8 lbs, so this 9 lb baby was a shock to me! But he's ever so cuddly and precious! We all have fallen in love with him.

Caleb calls him "my Stellan". I love it.

What a wonderful blessing we have received!

Today...

...this is me and my 3rd baby. Please think happy baby thoughts for me so I will go into labor this week and I'll be able to hold my baby in my arms instead of my belly! Thanks. ;)
